While looking through Wipinsanity’s Instagram posts, I saw a picture of socks she had made using her own Hat Heel Socks pattern. It’s a free pattern if you want to try it.
I think this pattern is best suited for a striped yarn and this is probably the yarn I’m going to use.
One last tip: If you use Knit Companion and want to import a pattern like one from Knitty, open it up. Knitting has the print buttons on the sides of the pattern. Most printer options will have something like “Destination”, where you choose which printer to use and there’s usually an option for something like “save to pdf”. That’s what I do. Then, I’ll email it to myself because I’m working on a chromebook. Knit Companion is on my iPad so I’ll go to the iPad, open my email, download the pdf and save it in Knit Companion.
The instructions are very wordy but it’s really a quick and simple process.

It’s all Greek to me. =) But I like the yarn colors.
