After seeing how the solid purple really didn’t go with the So Faded project that I just finished, it got me thinking about my Comfort Fade Cardi.
I’ve tried three or four different blues and I keep deciding they’re too dark. But now I’m wondering if maybe because everything else is speckled, maybe it’s the solid vs. speckled that’s the problem.
I have a green (Jaded Dreams) that may work.
There is some green in the last color and there’s a bit of blue in this new color.
I know I said I wouldn’t but I ordered another yarn to audition. At this point, what’s three more skeins? If you’re wondering why three . . it’s because in the unlikely event it works, then I’ll need three skeins and if they run out, I’d be up a creek again!
This one is “Dried, But Not Forgotten”. This one should be here by the end of this week so maybe I can make a final decision.

I just can’t see the new green working. Whatever you finish with needs some blue/green in it. But not the olive green or camouflage green you have picked. I know you love green as well as “fall” colors but your finish here is creaming blue and blue green in my opinion. I may be wrong in interpreting the colors via the internet.

Screaming not creaming

It will be interesting to see how this goes. Maybe they need to sell yarns like this with a swatch square so you know how it will look knitted!

Haha! I JUST read “The New Fade Yarn” from 3 days ago, where you said “It must work.” That was a solid one, though.
