Batteries, batteries, and more batteries! They seem to be used more and more in everyday products and there are so many brands and types to choose from. The prices for the same type of battery also are wide ranging. So what’s the difference? Why pay more for the same type of battery when it appears the only difference is the brand?
I came across this interesting comparison of alkaline batteries, while surfing the internet last week.
So depending on your need, a lot of money can be saved by buying a lesser known brand. I have also found an interesting video on how to rejuvenate an alkaline battery, so there can be more than one time use. I won’t share that link until I try it myself.
Things at the homestead are being maintained and there’s not too much new on that front to discuss. I am sure with Judy’s return there will be much more to talk about next week.
Have a good one!

Our daughter did a science project testing batteries….and we found out that the off brands did not last as long as the well known brands…..

Batteries! I hate buying them…but what can you do? I read somewhere that even the ancient Egyptians used batteries they made using jars of citrus juice and copper.

Okay, so I just spent 12 minutes watching a guy cheer on batteries. LOL Thanks for the amusement value. The results were interesting, as was the comment about using the battery that won’t run the game controllers and big drain requirements to still power clocks. I usually buy the cheapest ones, but clocks and remotes are about all I use them in. Now I think I’ll keep an eye out for Panasonic. LOL
