The next couple of days I’ll be busy getting caught up on housework and garden work so I thought I’d share the progress I’ve made on my So Faded project.
Starting at the top, the colors are Madelinetosh Twist Light in Cosmic Wonder Dust, then Purple Rain, then Video Baby. The fourth color, and the one I’m currently using, is Manos del Uruguay’s Alegria and the color is Orquidea. You can see about at the point where the needle tips are that it’s very light but back a bit towards the left, it’s more purple.
The final color will be purple . . almost solid.
There’s about 8″ knitted from the underarm to the edge now. I’ll probably knit about 4 more inches, then add 2-1/2 to 3 inches of ribbing, then the steek and the sleeves and it will be done. Doesn’t sound like much but that’s still a lot of knitting to get done.
I can’t wait to finish . . mainly because I’ve never done a steek and am anxious to try it, not only the technique but see how I did converting a pullover to a cardigan.

Nice!! I really like how it’s coming along. The purple bottom is going to really be a great ending! Loving it already!
