Pattern: Comfort Fade Cardi
Yarn: Madelinetosh Farm Twist
This is my final decision! It has to be . . the yarn is wound and packed in a project bag and on the road with me.
The color I’m knitting with at the top is Horn. Then, the balls below, right to left, which is the order in which I’ll use them:
- Killing Me Softly
- Night in Chile
- Patagonia
- Jaded Dreams
- Snake
Horn, Patagonia, Jaded Dreams and Snake are the original colors I had planned to use – just those four. But, the transition from Horn to Patagonia was too obvious. That’s when I began ordering transition colors . . something that was light enough to not be too much contrast with the Horn but had enough color to transition to the Patagonia. I ended up with enough yarn to make enough sweater but just a couple of skeins of this one and a couple of skeins of that one, a single skein of this and that. Not sure how that’s going to shake out but I intend to use it for something.
So, let’s hope I can make some amount of progress on the Comfort Fade Cardi project while I’m visiting with my family!
