Today was my regular scheduled doctor’s appointment for my “annual” but she suggested waiting til after my Medicare starts so it would cost me a whole lot less and I agreed so I go back in a couple of months but while there I told her about the strep diagnosis 10 days ago, I’ve just taken the last of the antibiotics and I still was not feeling great. She did another strep test and it also came back positive. So, more and stronger antibiotics for 10 more days.
That’s not bad because I’ll still be on antibiotics when I’m back in MO next week for Addie’s end of the year program. Those kindergarten germs seem to be pretty tough on us older folks.
The doctor was very happy with my weight loss but we’ll have to wait til June to see what my bloodwork reveals.

Kindergarten germs are no fun at all. My daughter in law teaches kindergarten and catches everything those kids throw at her. She’s miserable til around Christmas. I get the third round from her, but by now it’s just occasionally. I hope you feel better soon.

Please be sure ti drink your kefer and yogurt so you don’t get problems from the antibiotics, even when you go to MO and after since they stay in your system.

Ugh! Just found out my kindergarten niece, whom my kids have been hanging out with on spring break, has a high fever now and likely strep!

I hope the stronger antibiotics kick that strep right outta there. Feel better soon!!

I’m sorry the germs are so resistant, but it is good to be prepared against school germs! They are strong and toxic! I took massive vitamins and minerals all school year to prevent being sick all the time, and I have a pretty good constitution.
