Chad picked up more lumber yesterday.
I think he said these are white oak.
He sells some of the wood but he wants to make river tables with the really pretty wood.
I would love to have something made out of this one. The figure is beautiful but I’m betting Granny doesn’t get the cream of the crop!
One of Chad’s friends was over the other day and he said “Most guys are looking at guns and boats. Chad is looking at trees.” I wanted to say . . don’t worry about Chad. He’s looking at those things too! Right now, it’s the pretty wood that’s winning out though.

River tables must be the new thing, I’ve been seeing them everywhere. They had a gorgeous one at a bar in Orlando when we were down there a few weeks ago! Would he make them with resin or with a glass insert? They’re gorgeous both ways! He has grown up to be a talented young man, you must be so proud!

I had to Google river table to see what they look like, they are gorgeous. Hope Chad has lots of success with making some. I think you should get your pick of litter for something made specially for you!

There is just something about the smell of fresh cut wood!! This is beautiful and I love the patterns.

I don’t think there’s a bad piece of lumber in that lot– they’re all beautiful. I bet the tables will be amazing.

Too bad he doesn’t live closer. I have a dead white oak in my back yard. It has to come down soon.
