Speck sleeps in Addie’s bed but usually he sleeps at the foot of the bed on her side of the bed. Last night I went to get in bed. Addie was sound asleep and Speck was taking up most of the room where I should be sleeping.
I went in without turning on any lights so as not to disturb Addie, put my tablet down, used my phone for a flashlight to make sure Addie wasn’t on my side of the bed.
She was not but Speck was and there was not much room for me. Nicole, Addie and Speck had played chase for probably half an hour so I knew he and Addie were exhausted. Usually if I nudge him a big, he’ll move of get on the floor but he was out last night and he wasn’t moving. I ended up falling asleep with my feet and legs hanging off the edge of the bed. It was almost daylight before Speck moved enough that I could stretch my legs out in the bed.
There was another bedroom I could have gone to but I was pretty tired too and figured I’d fall asleep, even with my feet and legs hanging over the edge of the bed . . and I did!

Isn’t it amazing what we do for our pets!!?? Heaven forbid we make our own comfort more important than the comfort of the dog!! Hahahaha!!

I didn’t realize you shared the bed, I thought there were two twins in there. LOL

I am so glad my lovable big dog does NOT share my bed with me! He isn’t allowed up on any furniture and is quite happy to sleep on the carpeted floor next to my bed.

Welcome to my world! LOL I have one Corgi that sleeps in the bed with us. When I have a cough our Chow does not like it and she tries to get as close to me as she can. I have been having allergies so last night she even jumped on the bed and I had to go get on the couch so Pat could get some sleep. She stayed with me for a while then she went back upstairs and spent the rest of the night with Pat. My faithful Corgi, Quincy, stayed with me.
