Double Yolk Eggs

I’m sure it’s no surprise that it doesn’t take much to excite me but cracking into an egg with a double yolk really excites me. I sometimes get them from my chickens but mostly it’s when the hens are just starting to lay.

Yesterday I was making meatloaf for our dinner. Chad was fixing himself something before he went to work. He was cooking eggs for himself and he handed me two eggs for the meatloaf.

Even though I brought eggs here, we were finishing up a carton of storebought eggs they already had here and one of them had a double yolk. I was so excited!

Even Chad was surprised to find a double yolk in the storebought eggs!

It’s good to be excited about the small things in life. I think it shows a great appreciation for life in general.
