Up until recently, Addie has not been much of a jokester and she didn’t like me joking with her but lately, she has been more into joking. Yesterday I decided I’d better explain to her about April Fool’s Day so she wouldn’t get upset or angry with kids telling her that her shoes were untied, or there were bugs in her hair. Oh, my . . maybe I should have let her get caught off guard with April Fool’s Day.
This morning she was dressed and ready to go to school early so she kept firing off April Fool’s things at me and then she would say “Did you see that coming?”
I’m hoping she doesn’t get in trouble at school today with her April Fool’s jokes!

Love the Addie stories, they give me a smile, or LOL!

Oh funny. Emily took Brown “E’s” on a plate covered with tinfoil for her teacher. Hope she enjoyed her brownies!

You could make the family brownies for dessert tonight and see if Addie thinks you are funny!

Funny! I think Mother Nature is trying to pull an April Fool’s joke here. It got down in the 20’s last night, so those of us who thought it is spring got fooled…

Uh oh! the power of suggestion?

She’s a fast learner, that one. And did you see them coming?
