Not only was it 38 degrees when we left this morning but it was terribly windy and raining. We got to Joplin and every parking lot was packed . . that’s when I remembered that Monday is the 1st to probably lots of folks were out doing their first of the month shopping.
We went to Sam’s Club because I wanted to get salmon for Chad to smoke, and a couple of other things so we ran in there and got what we needed, as well as a book for Addie to practice first grade math, reading, reading comprehension and several other things to help her get ready for first grade.
Then to Target where I wanted to get some dish towels that I like from there. They had Dr. Pepper on sale, and they’re never on sale in Chad’s little town so I got three – 12 packs for Nicole. Even if I don’t drink them, I can contribute to Nicole’s bad habits.
From there, it was on to our favorite sushi restaurant.
There’s no way that was keto because of the rice but I did have a salad.
Seared tuna salad. Maybe the mango wasn’t keto but it was quite tasty and sometimes you just have to get off the diet for special treats.

We LOVE sushi and sashimi. What is in and on the rolls? I see shrimp tails. What is the white/tan crunchy looking item on top of the rolls and in the plate? Looks delicious!

Tell me about the dish towels you like. I need some new ones. Just threw one of my favorites away this morning because it was falling apart

Me too. I need some and I also need some new bath towels. I bought some that won’t absorb water! Crazy!

I agree and I always say, if you crave something you should go ahead and get a little of it so you don’t go overboard and gorge on it later!

Spending time with a grandchild, sharing something you both love-priceless and worth the cheat!

And a treat with your granddaughter!

It was cold, rainy and windy here too. I think the temperature dropped all day. Ugh. The wind turned my umbrella inside out three times. I’m not sure if it survived the experience or not. I was too tired to even check it over when I got home.
