Speck, Chad’s Husky, sheds like crazy! This is what their carpet looks like if you go two days without vacuuming.
My job for this morning was to vacuum. Yesterday I did most of the laundry but had one more load to do this morning. Once that’s all done, I’m sitting and knitting. Chad will be home for dinner tonight so I’m cooking . . chicken strips dipped in ground up pork rinds, then fried in olive oil/butter (yes, that’s keto), and steamed asparagus. I’ll fix another veggie for Chad and Addie since neither of them will eat asparagus . . spagarius is what Addie calls it!
Other than picking Addie up at school, I have no where else I have to go today. It’s so different here from being at home. Since they live in town, everything is fairly close so I find myself going to Walmart almost every day. I ended up going back to Walmart a second time one day for an inexpensive lamp to put by the chair where I sit to knit.
It will be nice to spend the entire afternoon at home today.

Ok, the ground pork rinds…..how fine do you grind them? I’ve had to switch to gluten free “bread” crumbs for Scott but I think they’re only a fair substitute. So glad you are getting time with Addie!! There’s just nothing like grandchildren!

Enjoy every minute of it!!

Yep that looks like our oldest daughter’s rug when her husky starts to shed. They comb him daily and it still doesnt help, but Bronco loves to be brushed.

I hope you had a wonderful afternoon of knitting!

I fostered a Husky for awhile, and she shed like crazy! I’m going to email you a link to a brush that works wonders on undercoats!
