It was a number of years ago that my friend, CJ, introduced me to black truffle salt. That girl has led me to so many rabbit holes. Of course, I’m not blaming her . . she just introduced me and I took the final step on my own. Everything I’ve learned or learned about from her has been amazing, including the black truffle salt.
Some days .. ok . . every day .. I just open the bag and sniff it I absolutely love this stuff. I hardly use any salt when I’m cooking so I can add this to my plate. Thankfully for me, Vince doesn’t like it.
That’s quite ok that he doesn’t like my salt because I don’t like his salt — anchovy salt!

Oh, boy…flavored salts!
Have you ever tried smoked salt? I haven’t, but it sounds good. Of course, you do plenty of smoking on your own.

Given the two choices, I’d probably go saltless, or *maybe* try yours, but nothing anchovy! =)
