That was quick! For the Nelchina sweater, I kept looking at the pink and lavender and it just wasn’t what I wanted. I bought that yarn to make Sugar Plum Cardigan for Addie. That’s what I want to use to make her sweater. It’s the exact same colors used in the sample and she will love it. I will have that finished for next winter!
Just to prove I’m really going to make this sweater, before she outgrows the largest size (size 10), I’ve wound the yarn! That’s a good start, right?
So, what to do about the yarn for my Nelchina? Order more . . of course!
I wasn’t sure whether I’d want Thyme or Porcelain for the background so I ordered both.
I do like them both. If I had to say now, I think I’d choose Thyme for the background. Thoughts?

Definitely Thyme!

I was going to comment how much I liked Cactus, but didn’t. Now I will say how I really like the Cactus and I don’t think there is any question here….Thyme is it!
Rebecca in SoCal says
I agree…it ties in to the Cactus nicely.

Love everything you do so really is your choice. Any choice will be pretty. flip a coin maybe

I’m so glad you’re gravitating to more color work sweaters as (so far) I have no desire to tackle one of those. At least for a while I’m not going down another rabbit hole. As for your color choice – I like them both – would the Porcelain allow the other colors to ‘pop’ more? Either one will make a beautiful sweater.

Definitely like the thyme!

Going against the flow here, if you’re using all 4 colors, I like the porcelain better. It’s a restful spot from all the color. =)
