This shawl only took me a week to knit but it was a lot of knitting.
It was so easy to make. It’s really just simple knitting. The green rows have what Ambah calls “bobbles” and they’re easy to make too. Her directions are great.
From the long point to the top of the back, it’s 92″. The depth is 22″. I used 929 yards. I used Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light and there’s 420 yards on each skein so it took up most of both skeins for the light (Gentle Monster) and brown (Amber Trinket). I used just less than half a skein of the green (Jade).
To me, big shawls are so easy to wear because you can wrap them in different ways, tie them, and really get some good warmth out of them if you need it.
I was hoping to give a better idea of how bit it is with it draping over a peach tree.
Really, I’m just trying to show off my gorgeous rosemary that is taller than my head and almost never stops blooming.
I’ll be sure to let you know when this pattern is released.

It’s beautiful! Not surprising, you do beautiful creations on every level. I had no idea that rosemary bushes (trees) get that large!!! WOW!

Don’t forget to update your completed list. I’m sure you have at least 2, maybe 3 or 4 to add. I’m amazed at all you get accomplished.

That is just gorgeous! I love how it turned out. And I love the rosemary, too. In Tucson, there are places that have hedges of it, and it’s so pretty when it blooms.
