Vince insisted on using his electric buffer thing to clean the skillet. I said “No, I’ll just use steel wool and a brush!” but after about the third time, he said “I’ll do it!”, I figured he must want to do it and I knew I didn’t really want to do it so I said “Ok. Thanks!”
It looks like it’s going to have to have a second coat of Easy Off and sit for another few days. There was built up crud on top of built up crud. It will be so nice to have that pot all new and shiny again. I have one more I’d like to do but it’s one I use almost every day so I hate to be without it for a week but once this one is clean, I’ll see if Vince is up to doing another one.
I think I’m going to go out and try to get the rest of the onions planted and maybe some spinach and kale planted.
