A White Dove

Vince just went down to open the gate so the mail lady would bring packages that are being delivered today.

He came back and said “A white dove flew right in front of me!” It was, as it usually is, a pair. One was solid white and one was mostly white.

I’ve never seen a white dove in the wild. We have lots of doves around here but they’re the gray variety. I looked up the symbolism of a white dove crossing your path and found this:

I thought . . that’s kinda ironic. Vince went to open the gate so the mail lady would deliver my boxes of yarn. The arrival of boxes of yarn do not generally bring peace and calmness to this household! I told Vince: “That’s interesting! On your way to open the gate so yarn could be delivered, you saw a sign of peace and calmness! I hope that means you will be happy to see new yarn arrive!”

He said “I didn’t know I was opening the gate for yarn. You aren’t supposed to be buying yarn!” I said “Peace, calm and happiness, dear! 🙂
