For Eat, Sleep, Knit’s Chinese New Year KAL, we had a choice of two patterns. I chose Diamond Lace. We were able to start knitting on 1/4 and I had planned to start bright and early but that was the day we spent half the day, or more than that probably, in town.
I knitted late into the night on the night of the 4th and again last night but I’m down to the heel.

The diamond pattern will be much more vivid once they’re blocked. The yarn is Madelinetosh Twist Light and the color is Cactus Flower. Love this color.
I would love to finish these today but I don’t imagine that’s possible. I still have 7″ of knitting. I’ll give it my best shot so I can get back to my test knits.

I don’t know how you get socks done so fast – it takes me forever to finish a pair of socks. I have that pattern and heaven knows I have enough sock yarn – another ‘to do’ project:)
