Here’s where you can either link up or leave a comment about what you accomplished in January. It can be quilting, knitting, home organizing . . whatever suits you.
My goal is to get 12 sweaters completed in 2019. I didn’t get any completed in January. I did get one scarf and a pair of socks for Addie made (see box in right side bar to keep up with my knitting through the year).
How did you do in January?
You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

The one thing I really wanted to get finished is still in the same state it was at the beginning of the month. However, I did cut out and create a flimsy for a test quilt. I know – not the same.

I’m not doing the 12 things, but I am doing the UFO challenge, and I finished my January project, my Happenstance Shawl. Woo Hoo! I’m ready for the February project…

As sad as it is, I didn’t even hardly look at it. 🙁 I want to do this one, but the other things were quicker and did them instead. So, I accomplished lots this month, but not one of my 12 things.

I started my Aki and I am about 3 inches under the arm. Knitted about 14 inches on the back of my dark green cardigan.

This is the first time leaving a comment, but I’m holding myself accountable. I finished a hat… With a pompom. I also cleaned out my sewing room, which was huge. I am knitting away on a cardigan.

I finished a test knit sweater in FW (640 st when attaching sleeve UGH) and then started and finished a super bulky grandpa sweater by joji locatelli Now to get to blocking. I’ll be working on some baby knits now and another sweater …madewell by joji. Nothing better to do in this dangerous cold.

I didn’t sign up for the 12 things either, but I’m really good at putting things off… Really, really good at it!! I’ve been working on deconstructing some very large men’s shirts I got for $1-2 from the Salvation Army thrift store. (We lovingly call it the S. & A Boutique – doesn’t it sound much nicer than the alternative?!!). ??
I have a quilt to make that will be raffled off for PA Special Olympics…over a year until it’s needed, but i’m scared to start it. In the interim I have a baby quilt to make for my grandson, who will be 3 tomorrow!! Ahhhhh!!!!!!! Worse yet, I haven’t finished the wedding quilt for my daughter and her hubby (parents of the 3-year-old) who will have their 6th anniversary in April…. Told you I was good at procrastinating…. I have my work cut out for me, so I need to get busy and get back at it!! Wish me luck!! ?

I didn’t sign up for the 12 Things either, but am really happy with myself for this month. I finished a wall hanging (a friend is hand quilting it for me), I finished the binding on last year’s Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt, and I finished putting this year’s mystery quilt top together. This year needs to be a productive, get things finished year, so I guess I ought to make a list!
