I wanted garden boots that I could slip on and off easily. My boots stay on the back porch and even when I need to run out and grab a green onion or a bulb of garlic, I have to put on my boots because I can’t bring grass burs in the house. With boots on, I can stuff my jeans into the boots and hope not to get the pants legs full of grass burs.
I found these at Walmart online and knew they would be my 2019 garden boots.
They arrived today and I wanted to put them on and go walking around in the garden but I had other things to do. I’ll be out there planting onions on the next warmish sunny day and I can wear them then.
I wish they would stay clean and shiny all summer but they’ll be pretty ragged by the time the gardening season is over.

Scorpions: can they climb into shoes or boots left outside?

Definitely! So do spiders. That’s how I got stung by a black widow. I had boots that had kinda fleecy lining. I always shake my boots and bang them on the steps before putting them on but with the fleecy lining, the black widow was able to hang on and she got me. We have boot racks outside and we keep them sprayed with peppermint oil and that’s supposed to keep the bugs away.

I just got myself new pair of boots at target. They are just ankle height. Easy on an off. See I’ve got problems getting tall boots on in step to high and hope these do trick .So if need a little shorter ones head to target. ASAP
