I’ve used the Aldi Convection Counter Oven all weekend. It’s on sale this week for a bit less than $37 and I think it’s a deal!
The outside dimensions are:
- Width – 18.5″
- Height – 11.5″
- Depth – 11.5″
The instructions say it needs 4″ clearance. Of course, that does not include the bottom. It has feet and sits 1-1/2 to 2″ off the countertop. I felt the countertop after using it and it doesn’t seem too hot but I am going to get something to put under it.
This Nordic Quarter Sheet Pan fits perfectly on the shelf. I got mine at Walmart 5 or 6 years ago so you might check there first. I doubt I paid that price for mine but . . a lot changes in that amount of time.
I toasted the bagels in there, baked cookies in there, melted cheese in there, and was pleased with everything.
The ad says you can bake two 12″ pizzas in there. Not so sure about that. The temp goes up to 450 and I bake my pizzas higher than that . . but I’ll probably never have pizza again! 🙂 I’m not sure what temp is suggested for cooking frozen pizzas
I think this oven would be especially nice if you have children who are old enough to cook but you might not want them using the big oven.
There has to be a cost saving to use a small oven when possible, instead of using the big oven. For us, we can use in during the day when our electricity is free, instead of using propane.
Even though I grumbled when Vince said he wanted it. It wasn’t long ago that I wouldn’t have anything sitting out on my counter. Now I have two mixers, a wheat grinder (which can probably be packed away!), two Instant Pots, and a countertop oven. I’ve lost my way! 🙂

Thanks for the review. Could you adapt the bagel recipe to use as pizza dough? Or just have individual mini pizzas with the bagel recipe. Yum Yum! Looks like you’re finding lots of really good meals to fix.

Cauliflower crust – that is what I keep reading about.

We’re avoiding pizza. Right now we need to stick with leafy green veggies and healthy fats more than we need bread, sauce and lots of cheese. Pizza will come later. I’ve tried cauliflower crust and wasn’t a fan but maybe I’ll try another recipe.

Good to know about the oven. I have a toaster oven that I used for a while when my big oven was out and we were waiting for a part. It was not bad but you can’t cook anything big in it.

Thanks for the review Judy. I have had my eyes on a B&D at WM for a month and a half now. I am hoping Aldi has one left when I get there tomorrow. Why spend $30 extra if I don’t have to.
