Vince misses bread more than I do. I’m not saying I don’t miss it but Vince really was concerned about bread so he’s been researching bread recipes. I told him .. for me, at least for now, I want real food – fresh veggies and meats. I’m not wanting cookies or fake bread or other desserts.
He’s found several recipes that he wanted to try so today he made the first recipe. He used Dr. Berg’s Healthiest Bread in the World recipe. He’s obviously a doctor and we’ve really enjoyed his information.
We had dark chia seeds and he used light so our bread looks a little different.
It may not look like yummy bread but it was yummy bread and it actually tastes a lot like real bread. That big thing on the left of the slice is a piece of an almond that was in the almond flour.
It was easy to make. Vince enjoyed it and it’s probably his first attempt at making bread. He did it all by himself. I am looking forward to a slice of bread with my eggs in the morning!
