This is as far as I got on Addie’s socks before I left. I had at least hoped to get the heel turned. I keep an easy project up front with me so if I get stuck in traffic for a long time, I’ll have something to do. With the heel not turned, I’ll have to check my instructions before doing the heel. Let’s just hope I’ve had smooth driving with no long stops. If you’re reading this any time near when it gets posted, I should be just a few hours from home by now.
The yarn is Spun Right Round Sport Sock and the color is Lucky Charm. I probably say this about every yarn I use but I love the yarn and the color.
I wonder what the chances are that I’ll have any knitting time at home tonight. Maybe I can get the heel done tonight . . probably not.

I hope you are safely home, Judy! These socks look so bright and cheery. Thank you for sharing your “vacation” with all of us.

I was on I-35 earlier today and thinking about you driving through the OKC traffic. Hope all went smoothly. At least the ice/snow storm is all cleared away!

I hope you are home, in your jammies and taking it easy right now. Rest up. At least Vince will be driving tomorrow and you can get some of it done. Don’t worry, you will get it done for her. So glad you are almost home even if you are leaving again tomorrow. Rest easy my friend and safe travels to you both!
