Chad and Nicole managed to get away without Addie this afternoon and went to an auction. They came home with really interesting finds. Nicole got a nice old Corning Ware dish with a lid. They got more bowling balls. Not sure what’s up with that but they now have five.
The best things . . two boxes of old albums.
They tried to give this album to me but I have no way to play it and I surely don’t need it.
From looking at values online, if this one is in good shape, it’s probably the most valuable.
There were two boxes of albums. We only went through one. There were 45 albums but they have no idea yet what condition they’re in. Nicole’s parents have a record player so they’ll take them out there and check to see if they play.
They bought tools, tool box, a cake platter, a couple of whiskey jugs and a bigger crock. They love going to those auctions. At this rate, they’re going to needing to practicing minimalism soon. 🙂

Addie! So pretty! Holding that album! She is getting so tall! Sigh! Loved seeing the updates all week! Thank you! Shopping was great her insight! Love it!
Oh my gosh Judy I played that Bing album over and over every Christmas growing up now don’t know what ever happened to my parents album but seeing that brought back nice memories thank you!

We had that Bing Crosby album when I was a kid. The singers from those years had such a smooth sound for Christmas carols!

Oh, that Bing Crosby album brings back memories!! We had that album when I was a kid. I wish my parents had not sold all their albums when they moved from NY to Texas years ago. I’d have loved to have them all. We bought a record player that will record to the computer and have lots of records to go through. Hubby was a music major in college so has lots of records. The funny thing was when our daughter went to college at a Music Conservatory. They had all those old-fashioned machines they had to learn to use, and she didn’t even know how to use a record player!! 🙂 🙂 My, how times have changed!

But the fun is them finding it together! Pat and I have done the same thing and now we have more Bunnykins than we can handle!! Need to have an auction, but will need the right people there!

I have that Bing Crosby record. I use it as part of my Christmas decorating. I also have a Sing Along with Mitch Christmas album (remember him?). I’m surprised that one still plays since we played it a million times as kids.

I used to have that First Family album. It’s probably here somewhere. Maybe one day I will look for it.

I have that First Family album, too, and maybe Bing’s. I’ll have to check! My stereo system can play LPs, 45s, cassettes, and CDs and it also has a radio. Hm-m-m I wonder if it can play 78s as well? I can’t remember!

It sounds like fun things to go through. If they can record them on CDs, it would be great, but re-selling them sounds like a good plan, too.

My daughter and granddaughter are into vinyl. They each have vintage radio/record player consoles that work.
