Remember when Vince ordered me a new tablet, it was shipped Fed Ex and am empty box arrived. This may be the explanation. Our packages do go through Hutchins, TX. Our box arrived but had been opened and was empty.
I called Fed Ex to see if they wanted the serial number of our tablet. Since it’s just a tablet and no packing material or tracking number, even if they found it, they wouldn’t be able to match it up with the shipper or buyer. They had no interest because we’ve already gotten our money back. Makes you wonder what happens to $50,000 of electronics IF they find any of them in good condition.

That is just awful for consumers, merchants and the shipping companies!!

I hope most of us understand that the companies do their best to hire honest people but, unfortunately, things go wrong. I was disappointed in the way Fed Ex handled it from our end. We received an empty box. It’s doubtful the shipper sent a box that had been carefully opened so it obviously happened while in the custody of Fed Ex. We made a claim and never heard another word from them. The merchant refunded our money. End of story . . til we saw this article on the news. I understand they’re super busy this time of year but it seems when something like this happens that so obviously was not an accident, they could have some contact with us.

A PS4 I purchased online during Black Friday sales was lost by Fed Ex. I put in a claim and never heard another word from them either. After waiting instructed amount of time, contacted the merchant and was refunded my money. I figured someone got themselves a new PS4 for free. I hope FedEx ate the $200+ and not the retailer.

FedEx hit our mail box and ruin it. I thought it was UPS they called and said they had not delivered anything to my house on that day. So I looked at the box and saw it was FedEx and apologized to UPS. Called FedEx and never heard a word from them….tells you a lot about a company doesn’t it….

Unfortunately there is nothing sacred anymore. People just think its fair game, and we are the ones who pay in the end game.

This is the reason everything is so costly now! People stealing from stores and from customers! Glad you got your refund though!

I don’t even know who to trust to deliver things any more! The post office does about as well as anyone at my house. At least they bring things to the door, and if it’s raining, they wrap them in plastic.
UPS leaves things in front of my garage door, because it’s an extra ten feet to put them on the porch. I almost backed out over something one day that had cost quite a bit of money! Fed Ex does deliver to the door, but few of the people I buy from use them, and your stories don’t sound like a great company.
