Just when I’ve committed to not buying any yarn, there are so many cute patterns that have been released, or that I’ve just found. If it’s something I actually know I have yarn for, I may buy the pattern but if I don’t have the yarn, I’m not buying the pattern . . but you might want it.
First, The Green. I seriously love this pattern. It’s made using two laceweight yarns, one of them being a kid silk type yarn. I have three different colors of Shibui Silk Cloud but only three skeins of each and this sweater needs four skeins and . . all three of the colors I have are out of stock at ESK, where I have free shipping til the end of the year. So, I’m not buying this pattern for now but I do love it.
Next is Pectolite. I’m not sure about the name. It sounds kinda like something you should drink when you’re sick. Something like Pedialyte I suppose. I’m sure I can come up with the yarn for this one but so far, there are no user ratings for this pattern so I have it in my favorites and I’m going to watch it.
Next is a sweater for Addie. It’s Alouette. My friend, Denise, told me about this one. I showed it to Addie and she said she loved it. The largest size is 8 and that’s about where she is now so I need to get it made quickly.
A pattern I did buy is Not Too Much. It uses DK weight yarn and I have plenty of that.
Another one I bought is Big Love. It calls for Aran weight yarn and Ihave several sweater quantities of that.
Those should be enough patterns to get several of you in trouble! 🙂

Like the new patterns. You need to post pictures of you wearing all the things you have knit!

Of them all, the one I love is the first one, Green. What means “Positive Ease”? Is it saying to chose the size that’s 6 inches bigger than your actual measurement? Too bad I don’t knit. I’d have snapped that one up, definitely! I like the second one, but I liked a couple of her other ones even more. Most of them don’t have any comments, but the couple which did were positive, at least. Having just bought some sale fabric, it was nice to look at some things that couldn’t tempt me! LOL
