Just before lunch, I finished the last of the binding.

It needs to be blocked and it will look so different. The blocking wires were scheduled to be here tomorrow but they’re out for delivery so tomorrow I can soak this and put it on to block.
There aren’t many ends to weave in but I’m going to go ahead and get those done.
The only modifications I did were to make it longer:
- Instead of working Chart A three times, I worked it four times.
- After knitting Charts, B, C, D and E, I knit Rows 9 – 16 of Chart E again.
I can’t wait to see it blocked and I know Nichole can’t wait to wear it.

It is beautiful! I know she started it, but she will enjoy this for a long time to come!

I can’t wait to see her in it, either. We’ve read so much about it, and now I want to see what it looks like on her. =) I feel like I’m invested in that sweater, too, and I didn’t do a thing! LOL

I’m looking forward to seeing it blocked too. I have the pattern and the yarn – was going to do the KAL with you but got sidetracked – as usual. My goal for this year is to knit some sweaters – I’ve started a few but either put them aside or took them apart.
