This morning, as soon as Chad and Nicole were both off to work, I began wondering what I would fix for dinner. Their freezer is full but I don’t like digging around in there and possibly using something they were saving for something else. We had leftover cupcake chicken and leftover smoked pork loin that I wanted to use soon.
Then when O ventured over to Facebook, a friend said she was making someone’s rolls (she said the name but I don’t remember it), then four or five of her friends showed pictures of their bread dough . . all making the same rolls. My guess is that said friend brought these to a Christmas dinner and shared the recipe so everyone went home and made them.
I said “Well, I want the recipe!” and the friend sent it to me. It’s a basic sweet roll dough that they were all using to make hot rolls so . . you know what I had to do. I went and stirred up a batch of rolls. Actually I made half a recipe.
I ended up heating up the two leftover meats and we had sandwiches and salad. Not a bad dinner and two containers of leftovers out of the fridge!

Those are gorgeous! I may need to make some…if you share the recipe. 😉

Did you like them? That recipe has been used at our church for decades. Wish I had a nickel for every roll made from Karla’s recipe!

Now I’m wondering … how much are they going to miss coming home to meals that are so good? =) Reminds me, I finally got to IHOP today and had green pancakes! It was delicious! I didn’t even add any syrup to the pancakes. It’s been hours and I’m hungry again, so I think I could go do it all over!
