Addie is not used to staying home all day. She started out wanting to go to Joplin. Nope, not going to Joplin today. Then she wanted to go to Walmart. Then she wanted to go anywhere! Lucky for her, when Nicole was home at lunch, she told Addie they would go see their grandparents this afternoon.
Addie asked me to put her hair in pig tails so I did. From there . . she dressed herself.
Unicorn purse, ear rings, a big pink “diamond” ring! She’ll be the most dressed up lady at the nursing home!
I said “You are so cute!” She said “I know!” Maybe it’s time to stop telling her that she’s cute! 🙂

Well she is cute! She will get over that.

Vince should have come with you! He and Addie are ‘out on the town’ types!

She is cute, there’s no doubt. I’m confused. Her hair is in what we always called pony tails, and pigtails were braided. Is that a regional difference, or have the times changed it?
DonnainKS says
I would say ‘regional difference’. Always heard this style called pig tails; one center back, a pony tail. Braided, just braids. I never had hair that worked for any. …natural curly, wavey hair always had a mind of its own! ! I never learned anything but wash/wet hair and finger comb. Brush with a specific brush when dry.

Too bad Vince isn’t there to take her on one of his marathon shopping trips:)

Love the unicorn purse, love it all. I think she did a great job with her outfit.

She looks dressed to the nines to me! She will be a hit at the home. She is cute. Nothing wrong with her knowing it. Just my opinion!
