We are Protected

For whatever reason, after saying for the past few days that the Grinch isn’t real and she was not putting out the Grinch Dust, Addie grabbed the bag and announced she was going to protect us from the Grinch.

She spread it all around the front sidewalk.

She thinks we’re fully protected from the Grinch but decided she needed to make more . . just in case . . so she mixed up another batch and said she will spread it out this evening.

I wonder what she really thinks about the Grinch. I don’t want to push the issue too much because I don’t want to have to discuss whether Santa is real. Last night some friends of theirs came by and he’s a Deputy with the Sheriff’s Dept. Addie thinks she can believe everything he says and he assured her that the Grinch is real and he knew someone who had their packages all taken by the Grinch so that might have been what convinced her.

In any event, Chad will be happy to know green salt has been sprinkled all over the sidewalk and flower bed!
