Christmas, 2018 is close to being history. My first Christmas with Addie and it is delightful. Seeing Christmas though a child’s eyes changes my entire perspective. With Vince and I staying home and not spending Christmas with family, I had managed to lose a lot of my Christmas joy but I believe spending one Christmas with Addie and my joy has been renewed.
She loves the tree. She loves the ornaments. She loves the presents. Nicole loves Christmas and decorating so Addie gets that from her.
She’s loved her advent gifts. This morning was the last one and it was Barbie clothes. I’ll definitely start collecting little surprises to do this again next year. Nicole said she’s not sure how Addie will handle not having presents to open every morning.
I’m glad I’m staying for another week or so and not leaving right after Christmas.

Christmas seen through the eyes of a child truly is magical. So happy you get to experience this and renew your spirit.
Merry Christmas to you and Vince and your ‘kids’.

Addie is so cute looking at the tree. Maybe next Christmas I can spend with my closest granddaughters. One is four the other about seven weeks old. It would be so fun to see the four year old Christmas morning. I have been going through treatment for breast cancer this year but it is almost finished, I feel great and I’m looking forward to next year. Enjoy your visit and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Happy New Year! ! !

Enjoy, take lots of pictures, and make great memories.

Merry Christmas Judy to everyone! Watching everyone grow has been a joy! Addie since birth has been a great pleasure! Grandchildren are the best! I buy each grandchild an ornament. That way when they leave the nest they have their own to start their own tree .. they love that. I hope you all have a great New Year!

I am happy for you. I wish you could have had all those other years with her. Seeing Christmas through a child’s eye is amazing and so much fun. It makes adults feel like kids again.

What a beautiful picture – here pink dress and so much pink on the tree – it looks like a pre-planned setting, and the sewing machine cabinet peeking in the background just makes it perfect!
