It is possible that I could finish it today but I doubt it happens. I started the last repeat last night. These last few repeats have been long ones. There are probably 300+ stitches on each row and 16 rows per repeat. I have a lot to get done today so knitting may not be front and center all day. I still have a few presents to get wrapped. I have to decide on knitting projects to take.
Oh . . I forgot to mention. One lady that I was making mitts for has retired and may not even be in town so I will take those and finish them and if we see her, Addie can give them to her. That makes me not feel bad about not getting them finished.
Even if I don’t get the sweater finished, I’ll take it and maybe get a few minutes to work on it with Nicole not around before Christmas and still get to s surprise her. I’m betting she thinks I haven’t even touched it and, I hadn’t til this week! I could go to a friend’s house and knit but the first few days I’m there, Addie wants all my time so she’d probably want to go with me. I should go to my old house and knock on the door and ask if I can come in and sit and knit . . for old time sake! That probably wouldn’t go over so well.
Back to my knitting . .

Have a safe drive through Oklahoma. If you are still leaving tomorrow, be sure to have warm jacket, gloves, and hat readily available since the winds will be strong from the north. While it’s in the 50s, the windchill will be in the low 40s.

If *I* owned your old house and you came to the door and asked to come in to sit and knit, I’d say, “Sure, just push that fabric out of the way!”
