You may remember that I bought three panel type aprons. All I had to do was turn edges under, sew on pockets, add ties. If I had been thinking, I would have purchased black ribbon instead of messing with TWELVE ties . . two for the neck and one for each side times three aprons. Ugh! That took twice as long as everything else.
I did the pockets first. Then I turned under all the edges. I told myself I’d do the ties tomorrow but then said . . no, you’re not going to want to do them any more tomorrow than you do today. Got the ties done. Told myself I’d sew them on tomorrow. Same thing. Made myself sit there and finish all three aprons. To bad I wait til the last minute on these things but at least I got them all done.
I hemmed addies up so there’s not as much of the red leggings showing and I made the side hems a little bitter. It’s going to swallow her but I think she’ll be happy all three girls have matching aprons for our cookie baking.

Boy, I need to make myself a sign saying: “You’re not going to want to do it tomorrow any more than you do today.”

Me too! I finished knit afghans for two granddaughters – just need to weave in the ends – I hate that job, I’ve been ‘doing it tomorrow’ for the past three days.

I use ribbon on all my aprons its easier than the ties and less time consuming .. Just not into the time consuming things as I get older ! hahahahahaa

That’s so cute. I wouldn’t have thought of the ribbon until it was too late, either. Still gonna work fine, and they’re done!

Y’all will be so cute and happy with your aprons to wear. Looking forward to the pictures. My grand-daughter-in-law told me she had found their iron and ironing board and was going to iron last year’s aprons I had goten for her and the great-granddaughter. My grandson ask GGD Sunday who I was and she replied, “She is my great, great, great grandma.” Well then! I think I look pretty good for a GGGgrandma.
