A couple of years ago, a friend gave me an EZ Melter for Christmas. We have used that thing so much. We don’t use it a lot during the summer when it’s hot and the daylight never seems to end. By the time we get back in the house, at night, the last thing we want is something warm but in fall, winter and spring, we love this little dish.
Last night I filled half the holes with provolone and half with chile jack (Jack with chile peppers).
I love how the provolone gets a little dark and crispy around the edges. Vince liked the chile jack better.
It’s probably too late to get one of these for Christmas but this makes a great gift for the cheese lovers in your life. Sometimes I wish we had two of them but . . that wouldn’t be very minimalistic, would it?

That is so tempting. I love cheese and this sounds like something I would use a lot. I’m going to wait until January, but I think I’ll be ordering one then!

Like you, I love the melted cheese! I always eat that part because Pat says he doesn’t like “burned cheese”!! LOL
