Advent Gift
It was gummy candy that looks like sushi. Addie loves sushi! When Toys ‘R Us closed in Joplin, Addie said “Granny, That was our special place. Every time you can we went and now it’s closed and we don’t have a special place any more.” I told her we’d just have to come up with another special place and she decided it would be for the two of us to go to Joplin and eat sushi. I vote for that.
One day after the Christmas shopping craziness is over, Chad and Nicole will be working and Addie and I will make a trip to Joplin and have sushi.

That’s so funny..my DH LOVED sushi and I thought it was gross and never ate it. Then along came a DGD (22 yrs. ago) and SHE loved sushi. I think it’s an odd food for little kids to like but apparently a LOT of them do! Have fun in Joplin!

My grand (4) is into Grammy and/or Grandpa time. We were there for TG, and she was adamant about having it, so we took her to see the Grinch. Then, I had to get some fabric and she came with, had fun picking some out, and she asked if I would teach her to quilt! Melted my heart as I didn’t bring my sewing machine on this trip. Crushing…They are so cute at this age!
