Getting Things Done

Minimalism – PFTR

The days are slipping away til I leave for MO. I’m so excited to be going. Bet you hadn’t figured that out!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚ย  But there’s still so much to get done before I go. That’s always the way it is. Maybe if I were more organized, it wouldn’t be this way.

I always think I can get more done than I can or, maybe it’s that I need to do more. I really want to get Nicole’s sweater finished and surprise her with it. Why did I wait til today to start working on it? Because I thought I could sit down and in an evening or two, get it done. I am doubting that. I HAVE to get the third pair of mitts finished because they have to be delivered Friday. My thinking was that I would get Nicole’s sweater finished, soak it and block it. It will take a couple of days to dry and while it’s drying, I’d be finishing up the mitts.

I had a pork butt out of the freezer. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it but it was in my way in the freezer. Vince said “We can smoke that!” Yes!ย  That works. I’ll stick it in the smoker tomorrow and it will be done for Monday evening. Tomorrow I want to make gumbo and I need to get the fruit cakes made.

As far as Nicole’s sweater, I want to do four repeats of Chart A. I got one done today and I’m hoping to get two more repeats done before bed time.

Hitofude

It looks like I did 15 repeats on my last Hitofude. 14 more repeats to go. Slim chance this is going to be finished by Christmas but maybe I can take it with me and get it finished there but it won’t be a surprise then.

Knit, Judy, knit!

10 extra hours of knitting would be fantastic but it isn’t happening.

Will anybody die if you don’t get everything on your list finished before you leave? If not, just cross it off. A body can only do so much!

I doubt anyone will die if I never do anything else but that doesn’t mean I don’t have goals and push myself to get more done.
