It is so windy out there. I can hear it just blowing and blowing and every now and then, it sounds like a gust is getting under the metal roof and for a second, I expect the roof to go flying off. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen!
Notice anything wrong with that picture? It’s warmer in MO than it is here. So not right.
Just before dark, I looked up and saw snowflakes. They would be pretty heavy for about a second or two, then stop, then in a few minutes I’d see more. Not much snow. It’s going to be 50 tomorrow so it wouldn’t stick around long anyway but it was exciting to think we might get some. I’m pretty much ready to take a warm shower and get in bed, cover up with multiple quilts and not move all night.
I met a friend for lunch today, came home and told Vince I was taking a nap and never did. I won’t go to bed early. I’m fixing to start the third pair of fingerless mitts and once I start, I can’t stop knitting. It will be after midnight and I’ll still be knitting.

You are so industrious! It is 36 right now in town. The wind is blowing hard here also. Still mix of rain and whatever! But at least we know it will be gone by tomorrow afternoon. I don’t like really hot, but cold makes my bones hurt!

You could be with Galen and his friend Greg. They started in the panhandle on Monday. Then Dalhart. Ended up spending an extra day (today) in Clayton, NM. Way to windy and cold for anything to be flying!

We once ate at a restaurant in Clayton, NM. I would like to go back there. One of the best meals we ever had while traveling and not knowing where we were! Hope they were as fortunate.

So I presume you’re knitting right now! It will soon be after midnight where you are and already is where I am. In case you wondered, I’m not knitting! LOL Your weather is worse than mine tonight, too. I’m at 45 for the rest of the night and rainy and 52 tomorrow. I HATE wind! Living in a 5th wheel taught me that. =)

I looked at my list of cities in the middle of the night, and it was raining in St. Louis and Tennessee, and snowing in Brownwood! Although at 36*, it probably didn’t stick.
