There are few places in our town where I will eat, and it seems like every time we go somewhere, another place gets added to the “Do Not Eat Here” list. It’s a darned good thing I like to cook and both of us love some pretty simple foods . . like tuna salad made from canned tuna and a plate of crackers, cheese and sardines. Not something we have often but when we’re hungry and no one wants to cook, those are our go to meals.
Subway Sandwiches is one place I don’t mind eating every now and then. We had coupons for two – 12″ subs for $11 today so we went there.
Italian BMT Sub
That’s Vince’s sub. Doesn’t it look amazing? I don’t like that one so much but Vince does and it surely looks good. I got the chicken, bacon, ranch melt . . which is what I almost always get.
I love how they marked Vince’s sandwich so we’d know which one was his.

Speaking of coupons, every time we go to Chick-Fil-A, we get a survey on our receipt. Vince fills it out and gets a free chicken sandwich so we can go there and eat, drinks included, for $9. Vince asked the lady the other day “Are we the only ones who fill out those surveys and get free food?” She said “Pretty much!” Hey . . free food means more yarn money! 🙂

That’s hilarious that no one else fills them out! I like both those places, but we have something here called Firehouse Subs that I like even better. I just don’t turn my nose up at old favorites like Subway. =) Now that I think of it, it’s been 2-3 months since we went there, so we’ll have to go soon! After the Italian hole-in-the-wall that is SO good! That’s tomorrow night. Regan takes me out once a week, whether I’m hungry or not. LOL

We go to Subway a lot! My favorite right now is their Savory Caesar Rotisserie Chicken Wrap. There is less bread getting the wrap (this is a spinach tortilla) with chicken and cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, I add onions, parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. Yummy! My other go to sub is a turkey on 9 grain wheat. I always add extra veggies.

I think Chick-fil-A has one of the best fast food chicken sandwiches out there. I also really like the grilled chicken nuggets. I like Subway, but it isn’t a place I just think of when I want to eat out.
