My new plan, which has been my new plan several times already and hasn’t worked, is to go to the grocery store alone. Vince buys so much stuff. I go in for two things, leave with a cart full and don’t have any place to put the stuff.
This morning . . the minute I woke up:
Vince: Let’s go to town today.
Me: NO!
Vince: Don’t you need something from the grocery store?
Me: I do . . and I have to go to town tomorrow and I’m going by myself!
Vince: I thought we’d go and get lunch out.
Me: What do you need?
Vince: Bread. What do you need?
Me: Tomato sauce (for making pizza sauce)
Vince: OK . . let’s get dressed and go to town!
We ended up going to Aldi and United and, of course, buying way more than we needed. I did find some cute things for Addie.
This looks like fun for both of us!
Vince found the pajamas and slippers for me and insisted I get them.
I’ll probably forever be known as the crazy Granny! I think it’s official . . I’m more excited about Christmas this year than I can remember being since I was a kid.

With good reason! I saw the cutest cartoon the other day. It had a picture of a hippo on it, and something about chubby unicorns still being magic. =)

I am looking forward to seeing pics of you in your Christmas pj’s and elf shoes. With those and the aprons the women in your family will be very festive. I wish I had a little one so I could go crazy with the Christmas season, but alas my “little one” is 6ft+ and 260lbs of hair, he looks like a Sasquatch.
