Sweater #8 is Aki and I plan to make mine a little wider across the front because I like for my edges to come closer to meeting at the middle . not have a big gap. I also will make mine longer. The pattern suggests using two strands of lace weight yarn or 1 strand of fingering weight yarn. According to the pattern, I would need about 1,000 yards of each lace weight or of the one fingering weight.
Yarn for Aki
I’m going to use Malabrigo Merino Lace and Shibui Silk Cloud held together. The Merino Lace color is Paris Night. I have five skeins, which is 2,350 yards. The Silk Cloud color is Suit and I have four skeins, which is 1,320 yards.
I will have plenty of those for making a swatch and then some!

I just pulled out the same pattern to start….like I need another, I have 4 sweaters on the needles at different stages and all in FINGERING… ..directions on that one are a little confusing to me, I’ll read it again and see if it makes it to the needles. I love your color choice for it.
