I’m not sure but I might be a little more excited about Christmas than Addie.
For a brief moment, I thought about making some Barbie clothes for Addie. She has all different sizes of Barbies. She has the Barbies her mom had as a little girl, and she has some new ones too. Thankfully I talked myself out of making Barbie clothes and ordered some off Etsy from a couple of different sellers.
This is a skimpy little dress and a skimpy little top!
Pink, black and white leggings.
This is pajamas, and probably upside down but I didn’t want to open the little plastic wrapper. I’ll let Addie do that.
A Christmas dress.
Last, but most important . . a unicorn formal type dress with a boa!
Should I wrap them all separately or together in one box?

I would wrap each one in tissue (multi colors, of course) and then put them in a large box and wrap that box.
One “game” my parents would sometimes pull on us was to have a clue inside a box, which leads to another box with a clue, etc. You would have to warn everyone else not to say anything if they find a box/clue in an odd place. There are five sets of clothes, so you could have 4 clues and send her around the room or house to find the next gift.
Someone would always get a jigsaw puzzle and we would work on that during the holidays. One year, my sister sent the pieces without the box. I think it was a puzzle of an old sailing ship with lots of lines against a blue sky. It was shipped in a chart tube for my dad since we were sailing on the Great Lakes and had charts rolled up. She later sent the box.

I like that idea of wrapping each one in tissue paper and then put them all in a wrapped box. Such fun for Addie to open each one! You are a wonderful granny 🙂

agree with above, also if she doesn’t have a container to put that stuff in that would be nice too 🙂

Try wrapping them all in tissue paper and maybe putting them in one box. That way she will have them all together. If you get one of those pretty boxes, she can keep them all in the box when she is not using them.

When I had my barbie doll the lady across the street knitted. She made a wedding dress and several other dresses for my doll. Knitting is right up your alley, hope you can find some Barbie doll knit clothes for Addie.

Hi from ethelann, how about each in tissue and put in a clothes container. Since you are an organizer like I am, I know it would be fun for you if Addie has the bug!. How much fun to have a container to take all of her things in and out of. It would be fun for you to look for the right one!!

I remember getting the bright idea to make Barbie clothes for one of the girls – one dress is all it took to end that experiment. All those little seams and darts! Unfortunately Etsy wasn’t around yet. Later they got American Girl dolls and I made a couple outfits – larger size and much easier.

I had a great aunt who made Barbie doll clothes for my sister and me–I still have that Barbie and those clothes.

I would wrap them separately. My mother would never sew clothes for my Barbie. She said it was way too fiddly. She did knit and crochet for them. (Ponchos, etc.) My aunt, who only had boys did sew clothes for Barbie for both my cousin and me. So, she had double duty! She had to make two of each item, so we had an equal number. She used different fabric, though so we could tell them apart. I still have my Barbies, and all the clothes she made…

Hobby Lobby should have a container or box you could write Barbie’s Closet on in glue and sparkle the glue writing up in glitter. Then add the tissue wrapped clothes and wrap for under the tree.

She has a Barbiei “Wardrobe” so she’ll be able to use that to store them in. I’ve wrapped each outfit in different colored tissue paper and put them all in one box.

I have no idea, but the clues idea sounds like fun. I didn’t have Barbie, but my little sister did. I never made anything that small, and fortunately had no girls! If someone else wants to make them, I say buy them and support the economy. LOL

Boy does this post bring back memories of the hours spent sewing and crocheting Barbie clothes for my daughters. I ended up buying for my granddaughters the Barbie clothes and the accessories for them. LOTS of time spent making, ripping and wrapping. Each got a closet with the hangers and shoes. Even made the closets for them. But the granddaughtes they received Barbie luggage- where they could put their clothes, shoes and accessories in a piece of luggage to go to Grandma’s house. Every outfit was wrapped inside the luggage and given a huge gift.
