Today’s gift was “Polar Friends” and it was foamy little characters you put together.
I was afraid today wasn’t going to be as exciting because the unicorn tree ornament was probably the highlight of all the gifts.
She loves putting things together so she seemed to enjoy it.
Nicole said there were three little characters, two of each and Addie wanted to do three and wanted Nicole to do three with her. Wasn’t that sweet.
Addie did the top three and Nicole did the bottom three. Addie’s fine motor skills have improved so much over the past year. This time last year, I think she would have struggled to get the little dots in the right place.
I told her that weekend gifts could be opened in the morning but during the week . . on the days she has school and mommy works, those have to be opened after school. Hopefully she’ll remember that and not give Nicole a hard time about opening them before she goes to school.

Addie is not a little girl anymore. How did that happen so fast? Have I really been following you for more than 10 years? Wow!

I was thinking her eye-hand was great! She’s first grade, right? I’m impressed with how well she did. She is sweet to want to share!
