We started out watching a movie that was pretty bad. After about 10 minutes, I said “Do you like this movie?” Vince said “No, you don’t either?” Nope . . so we changed it and ended up watching Christmas in the Heartland and it was so good. Both of us were cheering at the end.
So . . a cute Christmas movie. Vince said he thinks we watched it on Amazon Prime. I have no idea how to work any of that stuff so, if you want to watch it . . I hope you can find it.

I’ll have to search that movie out! There is so much drivel on these days (which is still better than the outright election garbage we just experienced!!!) but I’m so ready for some good recommendations. Tonight is the Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (ABC) ……. seen many times and, no, it’s not as good as the Christmas one…but the message is one that may be found in all of the Schultz/Charlie Brown presentations…..that, beneath the more obvious trappings of these special occasions, there is a deeper more important reason for the observance. Thanksgiving Blessings to you and Vince….with (chilly, slightly snow covered) MN hugs coming your way….

We have seen that movie! I believe we watched it on the Hallmark channel! I just love the movies they show…so wholesome and almost always have a wonderful feel-good ending. My sister won’t watch them at all, she says they are predictable! I say yes, but that’s part of their charm. So glad my hubby likes watching these movies, too.
We stream a lot from Amazon Prime and Netflix. We’ve watched some terrific movies and series. I have just recently started watching “Call The Midwife”. I love it! Lots of folks have been watching it for a long time, but I just recently began. It’s not something that hubby would enjoy (I don’t believe), so I watch it while I’m sewing up in my studio on my iPad.

I watch “While you were sleeping” every Christmas season. I think part of the reason I like it is that the first time I saw it my daughter and I were having a special ‘mom and me’ day. I also like “The Holiday” and some of the old standbys

Oh – I just googled Christmas in the Heartland. We love that series. Can’t wait for the latest series to come out on DVD and I can get it from the library.

I think we have this on our cable (Harris Broadband) and it may be a Hallmark movie. They have them all the time. I love watching these! My all time favorite is “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
