The more I use this pan, the more I love it. This morning, I took a picture with food in the pan.
There is a lot of grease in the bacon spot but I left it in there from yesterday’s breakfast and I had already fixed Vince’s breakfast before I fixed mine this morning. I’ve poured the grease out already.
Having that empty square bothered me. I’ve been able to put chopped apples or hashbrowns in there. I need to come up with other ideas because I don’t like having an empty spot. Eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast . . all in one pan!
It is a lot of food for breakfast but the next time we eat, will be leftover gumbo and a salad and 2:00 or 3:00 p.m. and that’s it for today. Lots of knitting time today. It’s actually a bit cold, overcast and windy outside so we’re both staying in and keeping busy inside the house today.

How about cooking some thick slices of tomato?

That really looks like a cool pan. But since it’s just me, would definitely always be empty holes so not a good fit for me. Weather is the same here; overcast, chilly and just kinda yucky. I started a fire when the football game started and working on one of my row by row kits. Plus prepping for a colonoscopy today..ugh.

How do you get the bacon grease out?I don’t see a spout.
Judy Laquidara says
Just hold it kinda sideways towards that end and it pours right out.

Looks like a wonderful breakfast to me. I like the chopped apples idea, but you could saute some onions, maybe. I looked in my Aldi – all kinds of pans, but not this one. So sad! =)
