My cobblers are simple – butter in the bottom of the pan, a mixture of flour, baking powder, sugar and milk, then topped with whatever fruit is handy. Blackberries were in the fridge and I had planned to use those for a cobbler til I was overrun with cranberries. I used the pulp for making this cobbler and it worked great.
I did add a bit of sugar to the cranberry pulp before putting it on top of the batter.
One of my favorite desserts – warm cobbler fresh from the oven . .
A little warm cobbler with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream!
It really looks like more ice cream than I had. All of our freezers are different when it comes to ice cream. The one that has the vanilla ice cream keeps it so hard that I can barely scrape out small scoops.
This morning I was tempted to suggest cobbler and ice cream for breakfast but decided that wasn’t a good idea.

I would have called a fruit smoothie with toast-no blending necessary. It looks delicious!

When I make cranberry sauce, I love using up the leftovers on top of ice cream or yogurt or even toast.

I think it would have been a perfect breakfast! I’m actually not a fan of ice cream with pie, BUT, I love warmed cream poured over cherry pie, and I think that would have worked great with this cobbler, too.

The picture of your cranberry cobbler looked fantastic. I would eat it any time of day or night. I have been using up the leftover cranberry relish we had for Thanksgiving dinner on buttered toast and cranberry relish on top with a cup of tea.
