With all the rain we’ve had in the past month, our solar panels have not been very productive and we have to pay for some of our electricity. This month’s bill arrived today.
Do you hate me yet? 🙂
We were running the a/c about 80% of the month, three big freezers, three full size fridges with freezers but I was gone about 2/3 of this billing period and the freeze dryer only ran one cycle on this month’s bill.
Still, I’m very happy with this bill, even though we rarely have to pay anything from October through about April.

No I don’t hate you . Look at the cost you paid for your solar system for your electric.

The solar panels were a big investment but one of the best investments we’ve made. Initially we calculated that it was going to take 7.5 to 8 years for us to get our money back. We keep track of our usage/savings every month and are on target to be completely paid back by the savings on electricity in a bit less than 7 years. We’ve had them 4.5 years so in about 2 more years, we will have saved enough to break even plus, if/when we sell the house, having an electric bill that’s $20 or less has to be a benefit.

That’s a nice bill, and I don’t hate you. Envy you a little, though. =)
