Yesterday I had to have a medical test done at the hospital in Abilene. We’ve completely given up on using the hospital here. Hendrick is the hospital in Abilene and they’re building a surgical center here and have some of the doctors here now associated with them so I’m hoping that eventually we can get more procedures done here. The good thing about going to Abilene is that we get to go out to eat. It’s always a big debate about where to eat though. I love Abuelo’s, a Mexican restaurant, but Vince doesn’t like it at all. He likes Fazoli’s and I wouldn’t mind it if we had one here and went there every now and then but not when we’re in Abilene and get to eat out only a few times a year. There are a lot of places where I don’t mind eating but they really don’t thrill me.
We ended up going to Blue Sky, a burger joint where we’d never been.

Then, I took a Benadryl because of my meat allergy, and we had burgers and fries. Also delicious!

I’m glad we went there. We still want to explore and try other restaurants but I think Blue Sky will be on our list of places to go back and eat again.

That looks like delicious food they served. Yes, Fazoli’s isn’t my favorite. We have a good one here, but the one near Nashville is not that great. It really depends on the restaurant owner, and the one here makes it quite pleasant and the food good, but it wouldn’t be my go-to place for a special treat!

I sympathize with your dislike of red sauce (Italian). While I do like a red pasta sauce, I don’t like red pizza sauce! That means I’m the odd one out when it’s “let’s just get a pizza.”
