Yesterday I put a lot of effort into making my knitting plans for this week. A lot of thought went into my list. I was happy with the progress I knew I was going to make. Then, my friend, Denise, sent me a link to a Unicorn Pullover.
Briefly, I resisted the urge to buy the pattern and order yarn. Briefly. The yarn should be here by Thursday I hope. I’m leaving my list as it is but this means my efforts toward It Takes a Guild cardigan is going to get pushed back. I want to get this sweater to Addie so she can use it and enjoy it this winter. By next winter . . who knows if she’ll still like unicorns.
I ordered the yarn the pattern recommends except, instead of the aqua, the main part of the sweater is going to be a deep pink.
I’m going to stick with my knitting plans for this week and start the unicorn sweater probably over the weekend or early next week. Or . . I’ll start it the day the yarn arrives. 🙂

Love the sweater pattern. You do know that Elizabeth Hartman has a unicorn quilt pattern called Lisa the Unicorn, right? And there’s a new Moda fabric line out called Once Upon a Time that has unicorns! Not that I’m trying to enable you, haha!

That will go so nicely with her mittens!

How funny! I thought of you immediately when I saw this pattern in the magazine when I bought it, but I was so sure you’d probably seen it already that I didn’t say anything. I could have gotten you a few weeks head start!!

The pink is good. Isn’t that the colors she wanted for her room? She is going to love it!!
