Strange Brew

Sounds like I’m a bit late for a Halloween concoction, right? Strange Brew is a new book by the Tin Can Knits ladies. It’s all about colorwork. Lately I’ve become obsessed with colorwork. There’s so much to learn and it’s going to be a challenge but it’s time I challenged myself in my knitting.

This book came out either just before or just as I got to Chad’s. I searched and searched trying to find a copy. Several U.S. retailers were listed as having the book but I couldn’t find one. I was very happy to find one and even happier to see it in the mail yesterday.

Another good thing about the book – there’s a code inside so I can download the pdf version and keep it in my Ravelry library.

I have a couple of appointments next week that will probably involve some sitting and waiting. This book will be my companion. I can hardly wait to start reading it and trying some of the projects.
