It was probably 5:00 p.m. and I couldn’t stay awake any longer so I told Vince I was going to take a quick nap. I woke up, looked at my tablet in bed, and saw that it was 7:40. I thought it was a.m. and couldn’t believe (1) I had slept so late and (2) it was still so dark outside. I was fixing to turn over and go back to sleep and realized it was p.m. and I had probably already ruined my sleeping for tonight.
Then I remembered the freeze dryer was probably about ready to be unloaded so I checked it and yes, when I finish this post, I’m going to take all the apples out an package them. Tomorrow I’ll start a second batch of apples. They were $1.47 or $1.49 on sale at the grocery store (Honey Crisp) and today they’re back to $3.59 per pound. I’m so very happy to have gotten them on sale.
Once the apples are done, I’ll knit a bit . . or a lot . . depending on when I get sleepy. I’m thinking I’ll be up and knitting way past the regular bedtime.
It’s gotten pretty cool here. Vince turned the heater one tonight. That’s one reason I went to bed – I couldn’t get warm. Now I have to go back out into the cold to go process the apples. Yesterday we were out with short sleeves and now it’s cold. I’m not complaining about the cold but it is colder here right now than in Nevada, MO and New York City. 🙂

We had a front go through yesterday (Oct. 31) with lots of rain, and it is definitely colder this morning. The wind just feels raw. I made a cup of hot chocolate to warm up…

I saw it was 49 last night where you are, and it was 57 here. I couldn’t believe you were colder than I am. That won’t last long. LOL

Hi from ethelann, I get this update and when I saw the 3D printer projects I wanted to send it. I am not sure this is the best way but I think you can find it for Vince
